Sourcing Manager – ApparelPosition SummaryWe are looking for a Procurement Lead to manage the sourcing and production process for Children's Clothing. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams and vendors to ensure high quality, cost-effective, and timely delivery of products. Experience with Walmart is preferred, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain relationships with vendors and support sourcing strategies for clothing.Collaborate with different teams during the product lifecycle.Negotiate pricing, lead times, and production capacities with international factories.Monitor production schedules and address any sourcing or production issues promptly.Assess factory performance and drive improvements in quality, cost, and efficiency.Stay updated on market trends, sourcing options, and global manufacturing capabilities.Ensure products meet quality standards and comply with company regulations.QualificationsAt least 8 years of sourcing experience in the apparel sector.Prior involvement with Walmart or Childrenswear is essential.Experience in apparel sourcing for mass market retailers is required.Good grasp of apparel manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain procedures.Previous exposure to overseas factories and vendor partners.Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational abilities.Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a sourcing professional who excels in a team environment and possesses a deep understanding of apparel sourcing in the mass market segment.
