Patient Services Rep/Receptionist

Partners Personnel Management

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist / Patient Services Representative to support a busy medical practice with six practitioners. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in ensuring smooth front office operations and exceptional patient service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
  • Greet and assist patients upon arrival
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Verify patient insurance information and eligibility
  • Register and discharge patients accurately
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain patient files and documentation
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of patient information
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff
  • Assist with general administrative and clerical duties as needed
Qualifications

  • Previous medical office or healthcare administrative experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Skills

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Insurance verification experience
  • Appointment scheduling experience in a medical setting
