Position Summary The Outside Sales Representative (OSR) customarily and regularly sells products and services offered by 84 Lumber to current and new clients away from company stores and other locations. This role is responsible for maintaining positive customer relationships, identifying new potential customers, and achieving predetermined sales goals with an acceptable margin. Responsibilities Build and maintain a network of sources for new sales leads. Communicate with customers and leads to understand their product or service needs and suggest suitable solutions. Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs. Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any post‑sale issues. Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, informing them of new products, services, and enhancements of interest. Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems. Provide periodic territory sales forecasts.
