Research Technician, Implant Team

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND PRODUCTIVITY EXPECTATIONS:Perform survival surgical procedures on mice, including handling, restrain, anesthesia, surgical heterotopic and orthotopic tumor fragment and tumor cell implantations, euthanasia, tissue collection and tissue cryopreservationRecord study data within the laboratory information management systemRead, understand and adhere to study protocolsPerform general study preparation and organizational activities, including sample tube labeling, supply organization and stocking, and laboratory organizationWork weekends and holidays on a rotating basisProductivity Expectations: 150 unilateral NUDE PS/day, 60 bilateral NOG warm stock/day; 60 bilateral NOG cryo stock/day.
