Location: Laconia, New Hampshire

Pay Rate: $54/hr to $58/hr

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Day/Night rotation with every other weekend, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Experience: 2-3 years of ER, MedSurg, PCU, or Telemetry experience required


About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week MedSurg/Telemetry contract in Laconia, New Hampshire. This role will primarily support boarder assignments in the Emergency Department, managing MedSurg and PCU admit holds. The ideal candidate should be strong in MedSurg/PCU care, comfortable with cardiac drips, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

• Manage MedSurg and PCU admit holds in the ED.
• Provide care for boarder patients awaiting placement.
• Monitor telemetry and cardiac drip patients.
• Assess patient conditions and respond quickly to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Float to Stepdown, MedSurg, and Behavioral Health Annex as needed.
• Document care accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Follow patient safety and infection control standards.

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire or Compact Registered Nurse license required.
• 2-3 years of ER experience preferred.
• Strong MedSurg/PCU experience required.
• Cardiac drip experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• Must be able to work day/night rotation and every other weekend.
• Must be able to float as needed.
• Skills checklist matching specialty required.

• RTO must be included at time of submission.
• Local and travel candidates accepted.
• Local rate applies for candidates less than 50 miles from the location.
• No on-call requirement.
