Heavy Equipment Operator
Are you ready to grow your career in distribution, logistics, and warehouse operations? Kelly is hiring skilled Warehouse Operators for a leading warehouse facility in Rincon, GA. We are looking for experienced operators with skills on Sit Down Forklift, Reach Truck, Box Clamp, and EPJ (Electric Pallet Jack) equipment.
Pay & Shifts
1st Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, MondayFriday Pay: $19.50$20.50/hour
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM 12:30 AM, MondayFriday Pay: $20.50$21.50/hour
Overtime and additional hours are often available! Overtime: Mandatory. Must be available for weekends and to work beyond scheduled hours. During Peak Season, day shift could have to report into work at 5am and work a 12 hour shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Sit Down Forklift, Reach Truck, Box Clamp, and EPJ (Electric Pallet Jack) to move, store, stack, and retrieve products
- Unload inbound trucks and stage products for proper storage or shipment
- Pick, prepare, and stage orders accurately
- Use RF scanners to verify and record product inventory
- Perform daily equipment checks and complete inspection logs
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety throughout warehouse areas
- Support cycle counts, report inventory discrepancies, and communicate safety concerns
Ideal Candidate Will Have
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended shifts
- Ability to work in different warehouse conditions, including noise, temperature changes, and varying lighting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately fulfill orders
- Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic
- Basic computer skills (Excel knowledge is a plus)
- Flexibility to work additional hours, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Experience operating Sit Down Forklift, Reach Truck, Box Clamp, and Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)
