JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Industrial Sewing Machine Operator in Simpsonville, SC . Our client manufactures an extensive line of high quality lifting slings and protective rigging gear to ensure a safe lifting experience. The Industrial Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for operating and tend sewing machines in order to perform sewing operations for cargo straps.

Two Available Shifts:

Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm $15/hr
Monday - Friday, 3 pm-11:30 pm $16/hr

Responsibilities of a Industrial Sewing Machine Operator includes :

• Operate industrial sewing machines
• Draw thread through guides, tensions, and needles as well as adjust industrial sewing machine functions.
• Replaces and re-threads needles.
• Observes sewing machine operation
• Selects supplies, such as fasteners and thread, according to specifications
• Cuts material and threads, using scissors.

Job Requirements of a Industrial Sewing Machine Operator :

• MUST have at least one year of industrial sewing experience
• Sit for long periods of time
• Constant hand and arm movement
• Lift 15+ lbs

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• A high school diploma/degree or GED
