Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (active in NC)
- Progressive Care / PCU or telemetry experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Ability to work the scheduled 06:45–19:15 shifts for the contract duration

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to progressive care patients, including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and documentation.
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns to physicians and the care team.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members and participate in patient and family education.
- Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records and follow facility policies and safety protocols.
- Support patient flow activities, including admissions, transfers, and discharges, while ensuring continuity of care.

Job Description
Travel RN needed for a 13-week Progressive Care Unit assignment in Asheville, NC (05/06/2026–08/05/2026). This role works 36 hours per week on the 06:45–19:15 shift, providing nursing care for higher-acuity patients requiring telemetry and close monitoring. The position is part of a busy regional referral hospital system that provides advanced specialty services. The selected clinician will perform assessments, manage medications, monitor cardiac telemetry, document care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and assist with patient throughput during the contract period. Compensation includes an estimated taxable hourly rate plus a weekly stipend as part of the total package.
