Sturdy Memorial Hospital is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our community‑based hospital in Attleboro, MA, due to retirement. We are a patient‑focused organization with a dynamic team of 15 physicians and 4 APP providers who are dedicated to providing meaningful patient care. For more than a century, Sturdy Memorial has served the Attleboro community with comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. What began in 1913 as a 15‑bed facility has grown into a modern 142‑bed hospital. In 2025, Sturdy received the Leapfrog Top Hospital Award for patient safety and was named by Becker’s as a Great Community Hospital and a Top Place to Work in Healthcare. Our Emergency Department sees over 49,000 annual ED visits and is undergoing a $113 million ED expansion to be completed in 2027. We offer full specialty backup and 24‑hour hospitalist coverage. Our Emergency Department has up to quadruple provider coverage per day, plus an additional staffed fast‑track area.
