Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary-aged students by providing high-quality speech-language services in a vibrant school setting. This contract opportunity begins August 10, 2026, and continues through May 20, 2027, offering consistent hours at 37.5 each week with a focused caseload of approximately 20 students. You’ll collaborate with faculty and families to deliver individualized speech-language therapy, helping students reach communication milestones and strengthening their educational experience.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially within elementary settings
- Proficient in assessment, development, and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt materials and approaches to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication screenings and evaluations
- Develop and execute targeted IEP goals for a caseload of 20 elementary students
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group formats
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to monitor and support student progress
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal educational policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
- Educate faculty and families regarding speech-language strategies and accommodations
