We are seeking a Hearth Appliance Repair Technician to join our team at Porter's. In this role, you will travel to customers’ homes and businesses, install new Stoves, and diagnose and repair their existing hearth appliances. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has the technical skills to get the job done. Training included. Customer satisfaction is a top priority. Responsibilities:
- Respond to client requests for stove service
- Evaluate and diagnose stove problems
- Estimate the costs of stove repair, service, and installation
- Repair stoves
- Provide preventative maintenance and warranty services
- Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
- Teach homeowners how to operate their hearth appliances
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Excellent customer service skills
