Project Operations Manager

Lead key strategic projects across the business Work cross-functionally to implement solutions, troubleshoot problems and monitor strategic initiatives Create and manage project programs and plans with critical paths, task dependencies, risk and issue mitigation processes, and major milestones Work with business process owners to identify and scope opportunities Scope, manage and implement projects to meet business needs Lead project execution for internal departments and external clients Provide direction and guidance to project teams Communicate project requirements to internal and external stakeholders Build relationships and collaborations with senior leadership to support company goals Develop customer presentations illustrating solution components and value propositions Support other project managers and project team members as needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field or equivalent related work or military experience 1 year of experience in operations, preferably in manufacturing or logistics Lean or Six Sigma experience Project management experience Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Ability to travel up to 50% of the time Must possess a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or passport Familiarity and ability to comply with TSA security procedures Ability to travel domestically via road, rail and air as required Lean or Six Sigma Certification and/or PMP preferred Master’s degree preferred Experience in a customer-facing role preferred Microsoft Project experience preferred Excellent communication and leadership skills Self-motivation to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in project management, including the ability to lead strategic initiatives, manage project programs, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
