Manufacturing / Production Shift Supervisor

Location: Shelton, WA
Pay: $22.00/hour
Schedule: MondayThursday, 4:00 PM2:30 AM
Training: Day shift training for approximately 90 days
Job Type: Full-Time

Ascend Staffing is hiring an experienced Manufacturing / Production Shift Supervisor for a growing production facility in Shelton, WA. Were looking for a hands-on leader who can work alongside the production team while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork .

What Youll Do

• Lead, coach, and support the production crew

• Maintain a safe, organized work environment

• Set expectations for safety, housekeeping, quality, and productivity

• Monitor production performance and help resolve issues

• Train, mentor, and develop team members

• Oversee production equipment and manufacturing processes

• Maintain accurate production and downtime records

• Monitor quality results and address production concerns

• Provide coverage for production positions when needed

• Perform additional duties assigned by management

What Were Looking For

• 35 years of leadership experience , preferably in manufacturing or a fast-paced production environment

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to coach, train, motivate, and hold employees accountable

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Continuous-improvement mindset

• Manufacturing experience preferred

• Wood products or pellet manufacturing experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for approximately 80% of the shift

• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed

• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
