ETL Developer (7 - 8 years)

Job Title

Required Skills: Ab Initio Co-op, GDE, EME, Express It, Control Center, Metadata Hub, UNIX shell Scripting, Control-M, DB2, SQL

Job Responsibilities

• Install and configure various Ab Initio software products
• Support the ongoing technical issues
• Manage Ab Initio user and server licenses
• Manage and configure ETL Filesystems, Disk Spaces, Permissions etc.
• Authenticate and Authorization management using Ab Initio tools and in LDAP.
• Work on Deployment steps as per Deployment Guide - Pre and Post deployment steps related to environments
• Investigate Job failures and identify the root cause.
• Scheduling, Running, and monitoring Batch jobs in Control-M and Control Center.
• Data Mock-up for specific test scenarios, understanding of Data De-dentification and data masking.
• Assist Development and System Analysis teams on managing the reference data and technical metadata in Metadata Hub.
• Setup and configure new ETL environments.
• Environment refresh - Refresh the code and data periodically as requested by the Dev and Test teams.
• Help the team to Automate the manual steps.
• Documenting the steps for day-to-day activities and keeping in shared location.
• Writing Unix shell scripts based on specific requirements.
• Work on Adhoc service requests from the Business and IT users.
