Private Client Associate Attorney – PhiladelphiaDirect Counsel is seeking a seasoned Associate Attorney to join a growing Private Client practice in Philadelphia. This opportunity focuses on sophisticated estate planning, estate and trust administration, and transfer tax matters for high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, and closely held businesses.The attorney will collaborate with attorneys across offices and contribute to a team-oriented practice focused on exceptional client service.Requirements6+ years of experience in estate planning, preferably with an emphasis on transfer tax planning for high-net-worth individualsExperience with trust and estate administration, including probate proceedings, trust administration, and gift and estate tax returnsAbility to produce high-quality work with minimal supervisionStrong academic credentialsExcellent written and oral communication skillsJ.D. from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Pennsylvania Bar, or eligibility to waive into the Pennsylvania Bar promptly after hirePreferred QualificationsLL.M. in TaxationAdmission to the New York or New Jersey Bar and in good standing, in addition to PennsylvaniaCompensation & Work ArrangementThe position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including productivity and discretionary bonuses, insurance coverage, and a 401(k) plan.
