Job Opportunity – Invasive Interventional Cardiologist – Utah
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Location: Northern Utah
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 24/7 interventional cardiology call coverage. Specific coverage dates: August 31 – September 7, 2026 (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM shifts). ER call coverage with interventional and primary call responsibilities during assignment timeframe.
Highlights:
- 238-bed acute care facility with dedicated cardiovascular services
- Comprehensive interventional cardiology practice with full procedural capabilities
- Daily patient volume of approximately 12 patients
- Support from dedicated 3-person 24/7 call team; daily staffing supports two labs Monday-Wednesday, one lab Thursday-Friday
- Multi-system EMR platform: Epic, Meditech, and Merge MUSE
- Consultative services include general and interventional cardiology, echocardiogram interpretation, and cardiac stress testing
Requirements:
- Active Utah medical license (required prior to submission)
- Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
- Proficiency in transthoracic echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Experience with heart catheterization, coronary intervention, temporary pacing leads, and IABP placement
- Ability to perform cardioversions, cardiac stress tests, and ECG interpretation
- Availability for specific assignment dates: August 31 – September 7, 2026
