A dedicated PTA is needed to join an outpatient rehabilitation team, working with patients to assist in recovery and improve mobility through evidence-based therapy techniques. Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting findings to the Physical Therapist.
- Ensure proper use of therapy equipment and maintain treatment areas.
- Educate and support patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility techniques.
- Assist in fitting patients for orthopedic braces, prostheses, and assistive devices.
- Provide compassionate care while fostering a positive rehabilitation experience.
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current CPR certification and BLS preferred.
- Strong understanding of physical therapy techniques and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
