Part-Time Optometrist – School-Based Mobile Vision Clinics

Kids Vision for Life St. Louis (KVFL) is seeking licensed Optometrists to join our growing team and help provide essential eye care to children throughout the St. Louis area.

About Kids Vision for Life

Kids Vision for Life provides comprehensive eye exams and prescription eyeglasses at no cost to students or their families through our mobile vision clinics. We partner with schools throughout the St. Louis region to bring care directly to students who may otherwise face barriers to accessing vision services.

Our goal is simple: make sure poor vision never stands in the way of a child's ability to learn and succeed.

The Opportunity

We are looking for part-time Optometrists with flexible availability during the school year. Whether you are available one day per week or several days per week , we would love to talk with you.

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday

• Approximately 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

• School-year schedule: September through mid-May

• Choose the day or days that work best for your schedule

• No evenings or weekends

What You'll Do

As a KVFL Optometrist, you will provide comprehensive eye exams to school-aged children aboard our fully equipped mobile vision clinics.

You'll be supported by an experienced KVFL team that handles the logistics and flow of the clinic, allowing you to focus on what you do best: providing excellent eye care to kids.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD)

• Current Missouri Optometry license in good standing

• Comfortable working with school-aged children

• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

• Interest in community-based and pediatric vision care
