This local position is ideal for drivers looking for consistent routes, familiar customer locations, and the opportunity to be home every night while working with a dedicated retail account.

Drivers on this account deliver merchandise to retail store locations using predetermined routes that remain consistent from week to week. With preloaded freight, regular appointment times, and reliable freight volumes, this position provides the stability and routine that many professional drivers value.

Job Details

Home daily
Dedicated retail account
Multi-stop deliveries
Average 2 to 4 stops per day
Preloaded outbound freight
Product delivered to retail store locations
Consistent delivery schedules
Predetermined routes that remain largely the same each week

Physical Requirements

This is a highly physical and labor-intensive position.

Driver unloads freight at retail locations
Freight is unloaded using conveyor systems and roller ramps
Average 50 to 300 boxes per stop
Average 500 to 700 boxes per trailer
Boxes may weigh between 2 and 100 pounds
Average box weight is 30 to 60 pounds
Occasional use of a pallet jack to move palletized freight

Schedule

Home every night
Consistent start times
Predictable daily schedules
Occasional six-day work weeks during peak retail seasons
Additional workdays are typically communicated in advance

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
Ability to perform frequent lifting and unloading duties
Ability to safely move freight throughout the workday
