Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses to provide exceptional perioperative care in a dynamic surgical environment. These positions focus on delivering optimal care to patients undergoing a variety of procedures. Current contract roles offer consistent scheduling and professional growth within a supportive setting.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours total)
• AM start times

Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• At least two years of recent Operating Room experience required
• Expertise in Orthopedics (including total joints), General Surgery, and Neurosurgery (especially spine cases)
• Proficiency with circulating and/or scrubbing roles in the OR
• BLS certification (additional certifications preferred)
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready for each case
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care throughout the perioperative phases
• Monitor patients’ status and respond rapidly to changes during procedures
• Uphold rigorous safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate proactively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
• Accurately document care provided before, during, and after surgery
