This position will be responsible for helping to maintain accurate inventory levels by continuously auditing materials and strategically creating acceptable carrying costs.**How you'll make a difference*** Perform cycle count on material per cycle count program.* Review counts for discrepancies and reconcile differences.* Audit materials to maintain accurate inventory of materials.* Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.* Assist warehouse, production, engineering, customer service in locating material.* Inspect shipments to ensure correct order fulfillment.* Compute amounts, such as space available, shipping, storage, to maintain high level of inventory accuracy.* Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.* Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.**Your Background:*** High school diploma or equivalent required.* Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.* Associate degree in accounting, finance, business, or closely related field preferred.* Inventory and cycle counting experience required.* Manufacturing experience preferred.* Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office strongly desired.***Equal Employment Opportunity*** ***(EEO)-Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities*** #J-18808-Ljbffr
