Job ID26WD101479Job Requisition ID #26WD101479Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced, highly organized, and collaborative Principal Program Manager, Business Operations to join the LEEP Office of the Chief of Staff. This role is responsible for the operational execution, program coordination, tracking, and reporting that helps LEEP run effectively.LEEP sits at the intersection of technology and the business, building and enhancing systems and tools that enable teams across Autodesk, including Sales, Finance, Marketing, and others, to succeed.The Office of the Chief of Staff establishes the operating framework that helps LEEP work effectively as one organization. This role helps shape, evolve, operationalize and ultimately supports that framework by managing the processes, tools, data, and recurring activities required to keep the organization organized and on track.You will be responsible for maintaining, the governance rhythm, visibility across key programs and operational activities, coordinating inputs and deliverables across teams, tracking commitments and milestones, preparing reporting, and ensuring timely follow-through. You will also manage several recurring business operations processes, including budget coordination, contractor operations, organizational reporting, meeting cadences, and other cross-functional activities. This position offers flexibility, allowing for on-site, hybrid, or remote work in the United States or Canada, with up to 20% travel to Autodesk office locations and Autodesk-sponsored events.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Operations & Reporting:Manage recurring business operations processes and operating cadences across LEEPMaintain dashboards, trackers, calendars, and reporting that provide clear visibility into key activities, milestones, commitments, risks, and dependenciesGather and consolidate inputs from teams to produce accurate, timely status reporting for the Chief of StaffTrack key operational metrics and activities across areas such as budget, hiring, contractor workforce, enablement, employee engagement, and roadmap milestonesMaintain operational documentation, process guides, templates, and other resources that enable consistent executionIdentify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate recurring operational processesProgram Management & Tracking:Maintain plans, milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and action items for key programs and operational initiativesTrack commitments and deliverables and proactively follow up with owners to ensure timely completionCoordinate status updates across multiple teams and workstreams and surface risks, delays, or dependencies requiring attentionEstablish practical tracking and reporting mechanisms for new programs or activities where neededMaintain action and decision logs and ensure agreed-upon next steps are captured and followed throughSupport program owners with planning, coordination, documentation, and reportingCross-Functional Operations:Coordinate operational activities and deliverables across Finance, HR, Vendor Management, Sourcing, Enablement, and other partner functionsTrack and manage statements of work, contractor onboarding and offboarding processes, tracking requests, approvals, access, and completion of required activitiesCoordinate budget-related activities with FinanceSupport hiring and workforce tracking by maintaining current information and coordinating required inputs with relevant partnersTrack cross-functional requests and dependencies to ensure they reach the appropriate owners and are completed on timeMeetings & Organizational Support:Coordinate recurring operating reviews, team forums, workshops, and offsitesPrepare agendas, materials, data, and status updates needed for effective meetingsFacilitate operational and program reviews as needed, with a focus on progress, risks, decisions, and actionsDocument decisions, actions, owners, and deadlines and manage follow-up through completionProvide operational support for Communities of Practice, including scheduling, communications, materials, and action trackingSupport employee engagement activities through planning, coordination, communications, logistics, and trackingMinimum Qualifications7+ years of experience in business operations, program management, technical program management, or a related discipline within a high-tech or similarly complex organizationDemonstrated experience managing operational processes and multiple concurrent workstreamsStrong program management skills, including planning, milestone tracking, dependency management, risk identification, action tracking, and follow-throughStrong analytical skills with experience building and maintaining dashboards, reports, trackers, and operational metricsExperience supporting business processes such as budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, hiring, vendor or contractor management, and organizational reportingExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to keep complex activities and multiple stakeholders on trackStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to consolidate information from multiple sources into clear, concise updatesStrong relationship-building and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and functionsAbility to identify issues, escalate appropriately, and drive operational items through resolutionAbility to prioritize and execute across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environmentA continuous-improvement mindset and demonstrated ability to make recurring processes simpler, more consistent, and more efficient.High proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Copilot. Familiarity with tools such as Airtable and Jira is preferredThe Ideal CandidateThis is a hands-on operations role for someone who is exceptionally strong at bringing structure to complex and ambiguous environments, designing scalable approaches, where established processes do not exist. You are comfortable managing multiple workstreams, working with data, creating clear and useful reporting, coordinating across functions, and ensuring that details do not fall through the cracks. Success in this role means that LEEP’s operational processes run smoothly, leaders have accurate and timely information, teams understand what is expected of them, and commitments are consistently tracked through completion.What a day in the life could look like: You might start the morning reviewing program trackers and upcoming milestones, following up on overdue actions, and gathering status updates for an upcoming business review.Next, you could work with Finance to reconcile budget information, coordinate with HR on hiring data, or move a contractor onboarding request through the required process.Later, you might prepare materials for a leadership meeting, consolidate updates from several teams into a concise status report, or document decisions, owners, and due dates in a meeting.In the afternoon, you could update an operational dashboard, coordinate logistics for an upcoming team forum, support a Community of Practice, document a recurring process, or identify a way to simplify a manual workflow.Across these activities, your role is to create structure, maintain visibility, coordinate execution, and ensure follow-through.Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $124,000 and $221,430. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
