Job Summary:
This Paramedic position is based in Asheville, North Carolina. The role involves providing behavioral health transport services with the organization. Candidates are required to bring their North Carolina Paramedic License on the first day of employment. The position is ideal for individuals with a minimum of one year of full-time active pre-hospital care experience and two years of satisfactory driving experience.

Job Details:

• Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801
• Shift Hours: 12-hour nights, with a schedule of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid North Carolina Paramedic Certification; Certifications include ACLS, PALS, PHTLs /ITLS, and BLS; must have and maintain North Carolina Paramedic License and Continuing Education requirements; minimum of one year of full-time active pre-hospital care experience; two years of satisfactory driving experience to meet insurance guidelines; at least 21 years of age
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with behavioral health transport; ability to float to wheelchair van or BLS van depending on staffing needs; flexible and friendly personality
• Additional Information: One weekend per month scheduled; position is a contractor replacement, with 1 of 3 positions available
