This position communicates frequently with community partners, home visitors, other supervisors, funders, and families. These services are focused on addressing all reported concerns, increasing parents’ ability to establish and maintain safety for their children’s needs, problem solve, and access community resources. Essential Job Functions Behaves in a manner that supports the agency's mission and follows personnel policies and procedures. Coordinates and ensures appropriate delivery of home‑based child abuse and neglect prevention services identified by Child Welfare Services to moderate risk families with children, ages 0–17y. Monitors the quality of services to all clients and families through supervision, case reviews, observation of service delivery and ongoing evaluation of program effectiveness and outcome measures. Provides leadership to program staff and assumes all the responsibilities of a supervisor for the staff that report directly to this position, including orienting and training staff. Works with Case Managers, Skill Builders, and families to resolve any concerns regarding services. Ensures that the programs are operating in a manner consistent with standards and guidelines established by funders, state law and the policies and procedures of the agency and tracks the timely and accurate completion of forms and assessments. Reviews referrals with the Case Manager and Skill Builder and, in the absence of the Program Director, approves and assigns intake of families to the team. Provides information to Child Welfare Services/Child Welfare Intake or to the Voluntary Case Manager about the status of referrals. Ensures that program objectives are met, including fiscal requirements, and that reports for accountability are submitted in a timely manner to the Program Director. Provides direct services to clients as needed, such as supporting families for whom the VCM Case Manager or Skill Builder needs additional assistance; conducting parent groups; and covering for cases or staff absences. Maintains effective working relationships with funders, collaborators, state agencies, and other appropriate providers of child abuse and neglect prevention and intervention, and related coalitions and networks, attending required trainings and meetings, as appropriate. Minimum Qualifications Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a human services related field required from an accredited institution, plus a minimum of two (2) years of experience in child abuse and neglect, including domestic violence and substance abuse. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution required, plus a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience. Proven supervisory experience, including, but not limited to, individual staff, volunteer, and program effectiveness, and outcome measures. Education / Training / Experience A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a human services related field is required from an accredited institution, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in child abuse and neglect, including domestic violence and substance abuse. A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution is required, with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience. Other Possesses and maintains a valid driver’s license and daily access to an automobile. Possesses and maintains proof of no-fault insurance. Can obtain an acceptable pre‑hire driver’s abstract. Can obtain an acceptable criminal background check upon hire, one year later, and every other year thereafter. Can obtain an acceptable CWS background check upon hire, one year later, and every other year thereafter.
