LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Primary Care

Position Overview Location: Community Care Wilkes-Barre Shift: Days (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 37.5 Responsibilities Provides primary clinical support to the provider, patient, and family to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Follows up on diagnostic testing and ensures accuracy and filing in the medical record. Promotes a clean environment and maintains asepsis during examinations. Obtains and documents patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and prepares patients for examinations. Provides direct clinical care as directed by provider. Assists provider in minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary examinations. Collects and prepares laboratory specimens, completes associated paperwork. Communicates with patients to respond to questions and reduce provider workload. Administers medications and vaccines including intradermal and skin testing per scope of practice. Sets up examination and treatment rooms between cases. Ensures compliance with organization policies and procedures. Qualifications Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required). Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred). Basic Life Support Certification. Licensed Practical Nurse license. Strong communication, computer literacy, customer service, multitasking, teamwork skills. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay: higher LPN pay rate; $5,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible candidates.
