UA Summer Ambassadors

The UAL Summer Associate ensures all guests receive outstanding service. They create a friendly environment and provide various services, such as helping guests find locations, accepting deliveries, and arranging taxi service. They monitor the area and report security concerns, and are flexible, willing to complete all assigned tasks. The pay listed is an hourly rate that varies based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location and market data. Schedule Part‑time or full‑time schedules Requirements: Candidates must have flexible availability and be able to work any shift or schedule as required. Shift assignments are subject to change based on operational needs and shift bidding processes. Responsibilities Assist with terminal/concourses: direct customers toward appropriate lines and kiosks; answer questions; maintain lobby tidiness. Act as United Brand Ambassador to enhance customer experience and retain UA customers. Enrich service by greeting customers with friendly service in the lobby, concourse, or baggage claim. Direct customers toward appropriate lines such as self‑serve kiosks or Premier Access. Introduce customers to corporate experiences and various aviation‑related departments/functions. Spend time in mentorship with a member of the leadership team. Perform other job duties as directed by Employees’ Leaders. Handle simultaneous situations and adapt to a fast‑paced, changing environment. Follow United’s appearance guidelines (no visible tattoos, no unkempt hair). Qualifications Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. High School graduate (or GED). Original Social Security card, government‑issued ID and birth certificate on day of interview. Background check, fingerprint, and drug & alcohol screening per state/local/airport requirements. Solid interpersonal skills with focus on teamwork. Ability to handle simultaneous situations and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
