Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist specializing in outpatient care is currently being sought in Stamford, Connecticut. The position involves evaluating all assigned patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and ensuring documentation compliance. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. The role is scheduled for dayshift hours, starting June 22, 2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Stamford, Connecticut
- Schedule: Dayshift; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; at least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; active/applicable license for the state of Connecticut
- Responsibilities include completing comprehensive evaluations, developing treatment plans using clinical reasoning, ensuring accurate medical record documentation, providing care under signed physician orders, participating in student programs, and actively pursuing professional development.
- Adheres to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintains licensure in good standing, completing all mandatory continuing education.
- Demonstrates understanding of performance improvement initiatives and follows organizational action plans.
- Employs ethical practices in accordance with professional codes of conduct.
- Additional information: The candidate should understand the organizations performance improvement methodology to enhance service quality and actively contribute to organizational goals.
