Voluntary benefits including auto, homeowner and pet insuranceThe role will generally accept applications for at least three calendar days from the posting date or as long as the job remains posted.Career Level - IC4ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, deploy, and operate modern, cloud-native, AI-first platform services Partner with SREs, release managers, security/compliance owners, backend/database teams, and support escalation teams to drive safe operational outcomes.Define configuration and implementation best practicesSpecify, design, and implement changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Work across teams to engineer the best system (for operations and customers) regardless of organizational boundaries or ownership.Scale our systems by building tooling and automation.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field8+ years of experience in engineering, application development or related field or equivalent experienceDemonstrated ability to write code in Java or similar OO languagesExperience building automated and AI-first solutionsProficient with data structures, algorithms, operating systems.Experience with distributed systems: familiarity with CAP theorem, Consensus, messaging, High Availability etc.Strong collaboration and communication skillsExperience operating production systems with change management, incident management, runbooks, approvals, audit/evidence, and security controls.Strong written and verbal communication skills during incidents, maintenance windows, and cross-team handoffs.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
