Location

Sioux City, IA | Acute Care (Level 3 Trauma Center)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Onsite | Expected 36–40 hours/week; overtime may be available after 40 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as a member of the interdisciplinary care team in the provision and management of patient care on a Medical Surgical unit
• Administer and monitor drips including Heparin, PCA, and epidural ; chemotherapy administration if appropriately certified
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient management
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Provide high-acuity patient care in a Level 3 Trauma Center environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Medical Surgical and/or Oncology nursing experience
• Active Iowa RN license
• Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates also accepted)
• Active ACLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates also accepted)
• Active NIHSS certification (may be obtained during onboarding)
• Valid Driver's License required
• Med Surg-specific Skills Checklist required
• One Supervisory Reference Form completed within the last two years required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver's license address)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• High-acuity care experience
• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are welcome to apply)
• Chemotherapy administration certification
