Role Overview

A regional Southeast retail freight operation is seeking CDL-A drivers based out of Cowpens SC. Drivers will haul dry freight throughout the Southeast while operating within a physically active touch freight environment. This position offers weekly home time strong earning potential and consistent regional freight volume for drivers comfortable with unloading freight using roller conveyors.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport dry freight throughout regional Southeast routes
Deliver freight across SC NC GA AL TN KY VA WV and OH
Unload freight at customer locations using roller conveyor systems
Complete an average of 3 loads per week with multi-stop deliveries
Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Accurately maintain logs and delivery documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customer locations

Requirements

Valid CDL-A license required
Ability to handle touch freight and roller unload deliveries
Comfortable operating regional Southeast routes
Strong safety mindset and reliable attendance
Ability to work within a physically demanding delivery environment
Ability to operate safely in varying weather and traffic conditions
Drivers outside the local area must have a secure location to park equipment

Additional unload pay averaging $320 per load
