Senior Project Manager - Fire/ Life Safety Systems

Position Location This role supports our Plano, TX branch location, serving customers throughout the greater Dallas, TX area. Job Overview The Project Manager position requires coordination and delivery of multiple simultaneous projects of small to medium complexity with financial impact between $250,000 and $7,000,000. The Project Manager has fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Facilitate the execution of the project/program solution plan for clearly defined sub‑projects or sub‑programs. Be responsible for delivery of results for the respective process steps. Guide technical or administrative staff. Act as a functional process resource on projects or programs. Contribute to continuous improvement plans. Maintain functionally focused client relationships. Manage several projects of varying size. Obtain View email address on click.appcast.io certification for C Projects (project >$2.5M). Review project specifications, drawings, and project‑specific documents to establish project intent. Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate needs with the project team, identifying time‑sensitive installation needs. Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects. Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews. Assist Operations Manager in the solicitation and contracting of subcontractors. Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide documentation including scope of work, drawings, specifications, and other project contacts. Track resources and project progress. Document project events that impact schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency. Pursue project‑specific change‑order opportunities. Coordinate and pursue project‑specific billing; communicate with Accounting team and Operations Manager. Schedule project‑specific commissioning resources and provide commissioning documentation. Expedite the return of project‑specific mark‑ups for as‑built development. Complete project‑specific close‑out documentation. Effectively manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet scope, scheduling, and financial requirements. Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and actions. Qualifications Associate degree. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment supporting customers. Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project. Verbal and written communication skills in English. Technical experience in the commercial fire and life safety industry. Three or more years of experience managing projects. NICET Level II or higher certification in Fire Alarm Systems (preferred). Knowledgeable of local and national NFPA fire alarm codes and regulations. Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; eligible for Siemens' fleet vehicle program. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree. Details about our benefits can be found at Compensation The pay range for this position is $92,320 – $158,263 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
