Job Purpose Administers the organization's environmental programs to ensure compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations and standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Ensure the accurate submission of all required federal, state and local environmental permits and related reports, including Title V, RCRA, DOT and stormwater management requirements. Collect, maintain and organize regulatory compliance records. Maintain throughput emissions data within the Environmental Management System (EMS). Monitor and evaluate pending legislation and regulatory changes to determine potential impacts on the company. Manage the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP). Assist the EHS Department with Safety Data Sheet (SDS) reviews for new materials. Coordinate hazardous waste pickups and maintain all required manifest documentation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health Science or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered. Two (2) or more years of manufacturing environmental compliance preferred. Physical Requirements This position requires the employee to perform the following physical activities, with or without reasonable accommodation: Occasional lifting, climbing and stooping. Walking and standing for extended periods. Work Environment This position requires the employee to work effectively in an environment that includes: Office settings. Manufacturing facilities.
