Account Representative

The Account Representative manages specific job functions and responsibilities associated with Account Activity that includes Inventory, Item Set Up, and SKU Management What You Will Be Doing: Assist the Senior National Account Manager in the day-to-day operation of key customer account activities. Act as key customer liaison – ensuring that outstanding service is given to the customers, meeting each individual customer’s needs. Manage the day-to-day operations of customer ordering, scheduling, and tracking. Respond to customer inquiries regarding: product, service, general questions, etc. Coordinate all efforts and communicate constantly with the three Readerlink distribution centers as well as our field service staff. Analyze prior and current sales trends and work to develop additional meaningful reporting metrics. Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested. What You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is required. Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects/requests. Excellent interpersonal skills – in-person, phone, email, presentations, etc. Fast learner, team player, and aggressive problem solver. Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required. Desire to advance and grow within the company. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners. Ability to communicate complicated information to others. Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to do algebra, calculate figures and amounts and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. A methodical and organized approach to problem-solving. The work performed is in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment. Employee is occasionally exposed to vibration and dust.
