PRN Positions Currently Available with Full-time in the Future

• Day Shift: 6 a.m.–6 p.m.
• Night Shift: 6 p.m.–6 a.m.

Your Role

Under the direction of licensed nursing staff, you will help residents with daily care while promoting their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, and other activities of daily living according to their care plans.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, mobility, and transportation using appropriate equipment and safe techniques.
• Deliver nutritional supplements, assist with meals as needed, and document intake.
• Obtain and record resident weights as assigned and report changes to nursing staff.
• Observe skin condition and promptly report redness, pressure areas, skin tears, or other concerns.
• Assist with scheduled toileting and continence care.
• Accurately document care provided and resident observations in the electronic health record.
• Promptly report changes in residents’ condition, behavior, or needs to the nurse.
• Protect resident privacy and follow infection prevention practices and facility policies.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other departments to meet residents’ needs.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Compassionate approach and commitment to resident dignity.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and observation skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and directions from licensed nursing staff.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation and resident confidentiality requirements.
• Long-term care or dementia care experience preferred.
