Your mechanical aptitude and disciplined approach ensure that every part meets specification on the first pass.You WillSet up and operate manual/semi-automatic lathes to produce precision parts to exact specifications.Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine machining sequences.Verify dimensions with precision metrology tools to maintain tight tolerances.Inspect completed parts, identify any defects, and confirm compliance with quality criteria.Execute routine maintenance on lathes and auxiliary equipment to keep machines in peak condition.Troubleshoot and correct equipment or process issues promptly.Follow established safety procedures and keep your work area clean and organized.Support the team with additional tasks and duties as assigned.What Makes You a FitHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 2 years of lathe operation experience in a production or manufacturing environment.Fluent in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring devices.Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work.Self-directed with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.Strong problem-solving mindset; adept at troubleshooting equipment issues.Well-versed in safety procedures and committed to a safe workplace.The WorkFrom setup to final inspection, you’ll be responsible for delivering parts that meet exacting standards—leveraging your knowledge of materials, tooling, and process control to achieve consistent results. #J-18808-Ljbffr
