Responsibilities

• Review and validate expense ledger entries and support monthly close processes


• Manage employee expense reimbursements and corporate credit card transactions


• Review fixed asset schedules and calculate monthly depreciation expenses


• Monitor and reconcile prepaid expenses on a monthly basis


• Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations during month-end close


• Support financial audits and reviews by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries


• Analyze financial data and prepare reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other management reports


• Prepare annual financial statements and internal quarterly financial reports


• Conduct ad hoc projects and carry out additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor


• Develop, implement, and uphold proper accounting policies and internal controls


• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting principles and provide financial guidance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required


• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience


• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to conduct thorough financial analysis and recommend solutions


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to relay technical accounting information to non-technical people: bilingual in Korean and English required


• Multi-Branch management experience is preferred


• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines required


• Attention to detail and accuracy a must


• Proven analytical and strategic skills


• Excellent organization and communication skills


• Proficient presentation skills


• Ability to work in groups


• Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) knowledge


• Excellent organizational and time management skills: self-management required.


• Audit and/or Review report preparation experience is highly desired.

The base salary range for this role is between $68,000-$85,000 yearly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
