Job Description
Job Description
Embrace a rewarding opportunity as a contract Occupational Therapist helping students reach their full educational potential. We're seeking two dedicated professionals, each supporting elementary and high school students in a collaborative educational setting. The schedule runs from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. You’ll either work at one elementary building or rotate between two elementary schools and two high schools—travel between sites during the day is rare, as you’ll typically spend a whole day at a single location.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current OT license in California
- Previous experience in a school-based OT role
- Familiarity with writing IEP goals and active participation in IEP meetings
- Proficient with Aeries; experience with SEIS is a valuable plus
- Ability to provide documentation for fingerprint/background check and recent TB test
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students, supporting their growth and success
- Assess student needs, set meaningful IEP goals, and track progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Travel between assigned campuses if required (minimal; primarily one site per day)
Enjoy a supportive environment, full access to necessary resources—including a provided laptop—and the chance to make a significant impact while two valued OTs are out on leave. You’ll have the opportunity to use your expertise where it matters most, providing essential services to students in need.
If you’re ready for an impactful, school-based OT experience and can start as soon as possible, apply today by submitting your resume and a copy of your OT license. We look forward to connecting with compassionate professionals committed to student success!
Compensation for this position ranges from $38.86 to $68.86. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
