Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

Scheduling Details

Shift Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed

First-Time Travelers: Accepted

Local Applicants: RN's within 75 miles are not accepted.

Charting

Experience with EPIC charting is required.

Call Off Policy

The client may cancel (call off) up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours.

Required License/Certifications

Must possess a valid and active New York Single State RN license (Note: New York is not part of the Compact license agreement).

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification required.

Required Clinical Skills

Ability to perform cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and Rapid Response/Code team activation.

IV therapy and phlebotomy skills, including peripheral line care and management.

Competence in nasal cannula and oxygen administration, as well as non-invasive airway management.

Knowledge of isolation precautions.

Unit Details

Nurse-Patient Ratios: 1:5 to 1:7

Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months.

The specific unit will be assigned at the time of the offer.

Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white.

Floating may be required within the nurse's skill set.
