We are seeking an energetic, dynamic Makeup artist / Retail Store Manager who excels at both day-to-day retail operations and engaging with an audience on camera. In this hybrid role, first your a makeup artist with retail makeup experience helping customers select colors, plus you will be responsible for driving store sales, managing store staff, maintaining visual merchandising, and serving as the primary face of our brand for weekly live shopping events and digital content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Operations & Management: Oversee daily retail store operations, manage inventory, handle point-of-sale transactions, and maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Frontline with Customer Service: Helping them learn about the brand and picking colors.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and manage retail sales staff to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- On-Camera Live Selling: Host scheduled weekly live shopping broadcasts directly from the retail store, showcasing products, demonstrating features, answering live customer questions, and driving real-time sales.
- Content Collaboration: Work closely with our Media Specialist throughout the week to brainstorm, film, and star in short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) featuring new arrivals and store highlights.
- Sales & Performance: Meet and exceed store sales targets through a blend of foot-traffic sales and live-shopping revenue.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of cosmetic retail store management or supervisory experience.
- Versatile makeup artist with 2+ years of experience executing flawless client consultations.
- Natural on-camera presence with high energy, charismatic communication, and strong public speaking skills.
- Proven track record in retail sales, customer service, and team leadership.
- Basic understanding of digital trends, social media platforms, and live-selling formats.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and scheduled live broadcast times.
