Job Overview Manager, Branch – responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all functions of the assigned location (express center, full-service branch or cluster of branches). The role ensures quality member service experiences, audit compliance, directs branch focuses to achieve credit union goals, and provides coaching and development of assistant managers, supervisors, and team members. The manager utilizes lending authority to make quality loan decisions and drives member participation through excellent service. The position also involves marketing, community outreach, training, and implementation of department or division projects. Pay Range: $129,880 – $214,303. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. Key Responsibilities Ensure quality member service experiences and audit compliance. Direct branch focuses to achieve credit union goals and provide coaching and development to staff. Use lending authority to make quality loan decisions and increase member participation. Attract new members through community, school, and business functions. Conduct, coordinate and train staff on school visitations and off-site presentation efforts. Create an environment to ensure a world-class member experience at every branch interaction. Provide consultative services to members regarding credit union products and services. Maintain consumer loan decision authority and assist team with escalated lending situations. Direct branch marketing efforts; research, evaluate, and implement departmental and divisional projects. Provide daily support to team members, including problem resolution and communication of job expectations. Plan, monitor, and appraise job results; train, coach, counsel, and discipline staff. Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards. Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances. Contribute to organizational goals as a member of the management team. Establish and implement short-term plans aligned with organizational objectives. Evaluate operating procedures and policies to ensure highest levels of member service, productivity, and internal control. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and applicable regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including BSA regulations. Key Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience required. 5–7 years of prior functional experience required. 1–3 years of prior management experience required. Participation in the CA DMV pull program may be required depending on assignment. Ability to manage the Santa Ana branch. Work Location and Schedule The role is 100% on-site with no remote work for branch positions. Some roles may offer up to 100% remote for certain individual contributors, but the Branch Manager position requires full on-site presence.
