Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients. Minimum Requirements: Prefer one year experience as a certified nursing assistant within the last three years Graduate from certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and in good-standing Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions Current CPR if applicable TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Submission Documents: Resume Rights to Represent Form (RR's should reflect the facility candidates are subbed to) Relias Skills Checklist (For CNA's and MHT's, please provide both; HHA/CNA/PCA Checklist and Psychiatric Technician/Behavioral Health Skills Checklist) Reference Packet BLS License CPI License (Applicable to MSH, MIBC, and MMHNCC; preferred, not required) Montana CNA license or Compact License (RN/LPN) Driver's License (Front Face Picture only needed) Submission Template: Name: Specialty: (Psych Tech, CNA, MHT, BHT Etc.) When Orientations open, an OPEN position will be created. Send submission to BDM - feedback will be given and will either be accepted or pending approval. Once approved, move to OM ASAP. Inform your HCP that they'll receive an Interview Link from Montana State Hospital. Interview links are typically sent out 24-72 hours after submission. It is highly recommended by the facility to attend the interview. Please Dress Appropriately and introduce yourself and the HCP, no need to stay for the duration of the interview. Make sure that HCP is aware of the Time Zone differences for interview. Please see attached form in Position for Video Interview Etiquette. There is not a second chance for that NEO if an interview is missed. Once Interview is complete – we wait for offers. Feedback/Offers are typically given about 2-4 weeks before Start Date. Continue Credentialing. Once offered, you'll receive an email from BDM for next steps. Send out FDI email (Template will be sent by BDM) and Important Candidate Information.
