Wound Care - Nurse Practitioner - Part-Time - Post Acute Care

Overview Korzen Health, in collaboration with Healogics, is actively recruiting a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a specialized, part-time position within our Post-Acute Care program. This procedure-based role focuses exclusively on providing high-quality wound care to adult and geriatric patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. Benefiting from a fully established patient base at this location, the incoming provider will not be responsible for securing new contracts or business development. Clinical Scope and Responsibilities Flexible Schedule: Part-time availability, ranging from 1 to 2 weekdays per week. Favorable Hours: Strictly daytime coverage with no nights, no weekends, and no on-call responsibilities. Perform comprehensive wound care management, including dressing changes and debridements. Execute minor clinical procedures (e.g., suturing, incision and drainage, biopsies, and mechanical debridement). Document patient encounters utilizing the EPIC/iHEAL EMR system. Required Qualifications Active, unencumbered State License and DEA License. Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner. A minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience as an NP. Demonstrated procedural competency (e.g., simple suturing, I&D). Preferred: Prior experience in Post-Acute Care or specialized procedural settings.
