12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

/n/nJob Description/n

The Ground Floor Surgery unit is the primary surgical department for the Northside Atlanta Campus, providing 24/7 surgical care. The department experiences a high volume of surgical cases ranging from 28 to 55 per day, focusing on specialties including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Urology, General Surgery, and Thoracic procedures. The unit is equipped with three Xi Robots, catering to various service lines.

/n/nResponsibilities/n

- Assist in surgical operations across multiple specialties.
/n
- Provide patient care and support during pre-operative and post-operative phases.
/n
- Maintain sterile techniques and uphold safety protocols.
/n
- Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.
/n

/n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n

/n
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a surgical nursing specialty.
/n
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
/n
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
/n
