As an Emergency Department Technician, you'll support our Registered Nurses and clinical team by providing hands-on patient care and assisting with essential tasks that ensure comfort, safety, and efficiency in a dynamic environment. From helping patients with personal needs to supporting critical workflows, you'll be an integral part of the care experience. Responsibilities

• Works closely with patients and provides them with basic, immediate care and comfort needs such as obtaining vitals (i.e. temperature, blood pressure, heart, and respiratory rate.
• Cleaning and changing bedsheets, bathing, dressing, and toileting patients.
• Building true emotional connections with patients.

Qualifications

Education:

• Successful completion and documentation of one of the following:
• Certified Nursing Assistant listed as either active or inactive on any state health care worker registry.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and waiting for NCLEX reexamination.
• EMT-B or MA
• EMR
• Must be enrolled in Trinity's PCT on the job training program and successfully complete.
• Successful completion of first semester of nursing school that includens Nursing Fundamentals.

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Current CPR
