Job Description
Job Title: CDL Driver / Flatbed / Lowboy Location: York, PA Type: Direct Hire Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections for CDL trucks
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure the proper functioning of assigned trucks
- Transport heavy equipment to construction zones safely and efficiently
- Navigate to various job sites throughout the day, including tight spaces and construction areas
- Communicate effectively with foremen and site personnel
- Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements diligently
- Valid CDL Class A license and current medical examiner’s certificate
- Experience with Flatbed and Lowboy trailer operations
- Physical stamina to sit for long periods and lift 50-75 pounds
- Ability to work in extreme heat or near hot asphalt
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to drive in construction and city environments
- High school diploma or GED required
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license required
