Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: First timers accepted Patient ratio experience required Charge experience required Description: The role involves providing care in a fast-paced emergency room environment. Candidates should have experience managing a variety of patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The nurse will be involved in the care of patients with diverse diagnoses. Skills required include care of ventilated patients, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and phlebotomy. The nurse may also be responsible for administering procedural sedation and monitoring patients. Travelers may be required to float within the facility to meet staffing needs. Weekend work is mandatory, and the clinician may be on call for additional coverage. Housing and a vehicle for travel will be provided during the assignment. No pets are allowed in provided housing units. Housing units are typically 1-bedroom apartments and are intended for the traveler only. Vehicle use will be limited to local travel within a specified radius. Travelers must ensure their personal vehicle insurance covers rental cars. Cleaning of the housing unit is required upon departure to avoid additional fees. Two references must be submitted covering relevant work experience. The candidate must be willing to work during major holidays as outlined in the requirements.
