Astor Club Chicago, a private members-only club in the Gold Coast, is seeking a hardworking and reliable Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring that all service ware, cookware, and equipment are cleaned and organized efficiently in a fast-paced, high-end dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using both commercial dish machines and manual methods

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area, kitchen equipment, and storage areas

• Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal

• Handle equipment carefully and follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

• Support chefs and cooks by ensuring they have clean tools and service ware ready when needed

Qualifications

• Prior dishwasher or kitchen porter experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work nights and weekends as needed

• Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed in the kitchen

Compensation & Benefits

• $22/hour
