Position Summary

The Project Manager IV leads complex, high-value design and construction projects for government facilities. This role oversees all phases from planning through occupancy while managing scope, budget, schedule, and contractor performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale construction projects from planning through closeout
• Develop project plans, cost estimates, schedules, and procurement strategies
• Serve as on-site project manager, overseeing daily field operations and resolving complex issues
• Review and approve design documents, submittals, and project deliverables
• Ensure compliance with building codes, life safety standards, and quality requirements
• Provide technical expertise across building systems and construction practices
• Coordinate with A/E firms, contractors, and government stakeholders
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong stakeholder communication
• Maintain project documentation and ensure delivery on scope, schedule, and budget
• Travel to project sites as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; or 10 years of relevant experience
• Master's degree preferred
• Extensive knowledge of building design, construction methods, and commercial building systems
• Proficiency in project management, scheduling, cost estimating, and construction documentation
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple high-value projects and lead multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with project management and estimating software
