The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing flow of large project orders and direct through stock (DTS). The logistics coordinator also works closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy of received products.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Efficient & Timely receiving of all DTS shipments into the warehouse.Works with Lighting and Gear Departments to ensure products are received accurately upon receipt.Helps facilitate freight claims, reports damaged goods immediately to project manager and/or salesperson.Thorough cross-check of goods against packing slips/BOL’s.Opening boxes as needed. Ability to speak effectively with customers/vendors or other employees.Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
