Merchandiser – Part Time Position (Alexandria Area) A Merchandiser is responsible for merchandising fresh bakery products in local accounts/grocery stores to ensure adequate product availability on the shelf and on displays. Your New BBU Career Highlights: Average 20 hours per week. Competitive starting pay $18.00 per hour. Shift: Wednesday & Sunday, 6am start. Opportunity to make the bread aisle and displays look outstanding. What You Can Expect: Keep bread aisle and display locations stocked appropriately in stores. Maintain clean and organized back‑room product inventory. Rotate products according to color code. What We Need From You: Must be at least 21 years of age or older. Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card. Successfully able to obtain a Chauffeur License (if job location is in IN, MI, TN). Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers. Reliable transportation. In some locations, Merchandisers are required to drive a DOT regulated route truck; candidates must meet DOT requirements (Medical Card, Road Test) and be 21 or older. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, and record official reports.
